Job Description

The Quality Technician’s primary function is to assist in supplier and customer returns process, which may include inventory transfers, part measurements, and packing/unpacking materials. This is to be done with little supervision to maintain a high degree of safety, quality, and productivity.

This is a temporary, 1st Shift position.

Job Responsibilities Assist inventory transfers using ERP software. Check in, tag, and move returns within the system. Assist with the REO rework work order process. Maintain safety and good housekeeping while reporting any gaps. Communicate with supervisor regularly about department issues. Read and interpret blueprints to verify conformity. Assist with supplier return process. Background & Skills

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in inspecting parts Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes. Knowledge of and ability to navigate ERP software relative to return and warranty functions.

Job Criteria

Must have good communication skills and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Contact with management, suppliers and customers are a regular occurrence. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including at a minimum Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point. Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize.
