This is a full-time, hourly position. 

Reports ToQuality ManagerIn Case of AbsenceQuality ManagerExperience / Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in food science or related field preferred.Minimum 1 year of experience in quality or manufacturing preferred.Training RequiredAnnual TrainingTraining Verification MatrixGeneral Job DescriptionAbility to complete all tasks assigned to the Quality Technicians in each plant.Ability to fill in when needed to support production with Quality needs.Maintain Quality department personnel Schedule.Support Quality Manager in customer complaint investigations by submitting requested reports of issues, findings and discrepancies to the Quality Manager.Support Quality Manager in coordinating customer specific requests and communicating issues, findings and discrepancies to the Quality Manager.Review production Quality documents for accuracy. Inform Quality Manager and production of discrepancies. Ability to determine and/or initiate quality holds based on review of documents.Organize and maintain retain samples.Review Quality Hold Log for issues to investigate and report findings to Quality Manager for dispositions.Participate in formal release activities as necessary.Participate in customer release information for requesting shipping release.Assist Quality Manager with document verification and implementation as allowed.Support Quality Manager in executing the quality hold program and investigation of quality hold materials by submitting requested reports of issues, findings and discrepancies to the Quality Manager.Maintain customer sampling.Maintain finished product sampling and environmental monitoring program.Maintain record hard copy and electronic copy filing.Maintain FSMA additional environmental sampling per release protocol.Support Quality Manager in maintaining product sampling matrices, product specifications and sight samples, communicate revisions to the necessary personnel as needed.Composite appropriate samples for various testing at an outside laboratory as instructed by Quality Manager.Responsibility to identify food safety and/or product integrity issues and to initiate and record actions for issues reported.Responsibility to communicate and review any information deemed necessary, including but not limited to, food safety, product integrity, formulas, specifications and/or changes, with Quality Manager.Authority to purchase necessary chemicals and lubricants.Responsibility to maintain overall plant sanitation.Perform other duties as assigned.ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
