Quality Technician - Level II

**DESCRIPTION**
**Job Summary:**
Supports Engineers in executing production-related and inspection tasks, monitors materials quality in processing plants, and assists in implementing necessary adjustments. Maintains and manages documentation and records in compliance with organizational requirements. Operates under moderate supervision.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
+ Conduct simple tests, such as electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality.
+ Record test results and prepare straightforward technical reports.
+ Perform product and component testing using various measurement equipment.
+ Assist customers in understanding and interpreting product specifications and applying measurement data.
+ Participate in measurement uncertainty studies for measurement and calibration results.
+ Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and testing equipment.
+ Assist with final product quality verification on the production line.
+ Collaborate effectively on the shop floor to address quality concerns and ensure process adherence.

**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**

**Experience:**
+ Requires prior work experience and intermediate knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Skills and Knowledge:**
+ **Measurement Science:** Analyzes measurement processes to identify and quantify uncertainty sources within applied measurement sciences, such as dimensional, electrical, mechanical, or optical measurements.
+ **Quality Process Management:** Proficiently applies quality tools and methods, including APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, capability studies, process audits, and inspections to ensure product, process, and service quality.
+ **Laboratory Management:** Manages technical and business aspects of a laboratory, ensuring compliance with certifications and accreditations.
