We are now seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join us within our Stability Management team as part of the analytical technology lab group at AbbVie Westport, on a 12 month fixed term contract. 

In your new role, you will assist in the efficient management and delivery of samples being sent to testing labs for our Biologics & Ocular Implant product samples. Working across a shift-based pattern you will support the management of incoming and outgoing shipments; sample disposal and sample retain as required.


What you will do:

Daily sample pull for Pharma and BOTOX – Including stability, release and complaintsCollection, breakdown and organization of shipmentsUse of laboratory IT systems including LIMS and SAPGlass vialling and labelling of bulkSample disposal – Stability, release and retains for Pharma and BOTOXAdhering to all company standards in the areas of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepanciesEnsure good housekeepingRotating shifts monthlyWork with a team, Supervisors, Quality Manager and Laboratory Manager to ensure compliance to Quality Management System
Qualifications

What you will need:

3rd level qualification in a relevant areaExcellent organization, time-management and teamwork skillsAbility to work on one’s own initiativeExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. Articulate the quality requirements in a clear, concise and persuasive manner.Excellent analytical skills the ability to plan and schedule
