About Our Team:

About the Role:

As a Quality Test Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing QA methodologies and ensuring compliance. You will collaborate with management to improve quality and process standards, resulting in on-time and efficient delivery of systems. 

Responsibilities:

Understand the basics of DB queries 

Work with core Java 

Utilize automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, or similar 

Conduct smoke and functional testing 

Gain basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner 

Use JIRA and follow SDLC processes 

Apply your understanding of QA methodologies and process improvement 

Contribute to the software development process with attention to detail 

Requirements:

Participate in process improvement and compliance efforts to deliver high-quality software products and services on time, within budget, and to specifications 

Assist in enhancing methodologies for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting 

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices 

Maintain a framework for record retention to support internal and external IT audits 

Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve capability and efficiency 

Perform all other duties as assigned
