Quality Test Technician

As part of the mission, the Quality Test Technician will be supporting EE Test Engineering in troubleshooting and repair activities on ESI PCBA/Control units.

Key responsibilities: 

Conducting First Article Test on new Subsystem, PCBA and Cable assemblies. Analyzing and determining hardware test requirements, supporting Test development activities.Maintain, Modify and Improve Test System hardware and fixtures.Support Engineers to deploy the new Test Fixtures at Production and external supplier. Resolve the Test Fixtures and Equipment issues on time.Perform hands-on assembly, set-up, testing, troubleshooting of PCBA and prioritize to resolve the issues.Support of FPY improvement activities and determines root cause of Manufacturing low Yield / Quality issues.Support Engineers to setup and conduct experiment/tests, compile and analyze data.Handle Field failures troubleshooting and provide updates to Engineering team to prevent future occurrences.Incorporate continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of Job.Inspect incoming mechanical parts and materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor based on business needs.

Requirements:  

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in PCBA Testing and troubleshooting is preferred.ITE / Diploma or higher in engineering or equivalent.Able to read and interpret Electrical Schematics, Specifications and Manufacturing manuals.Experience with test equipment e.g. function Generator, Oscilloscope etc.Good written and verbal English language communications skills.
