Process Overview*

The team in India is an extension of Bank of America’s Global Risk Organization. India team provides analytical and technological support to the Model Risk Management desk.

Job Description*

Model Risk Management team has migrated its primary workflow, inventory, and Approved Data Source (ADS) system from an internal system to an external vendor system. The candidate will work closely with the Model Risk Management (MRM) Reporting and Analytics team in gathering requirements/ direction and user feedback to create and update Tableau dashboards that read from new vendor MRM database / Approved Data Source (ADS) system.

Responsibilities*

The candidate will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including:

Critically analyze the business needs and document the same in presentable format for easy trackingPresent data and insights on TableauIdentify, isolate/rectify any data anomaliesInteract with various business and risk partners and provide tour on work product

Requirements*

Education*Masters or Bachelors in a analytical field such as Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Information TechnologyEducational institutes: Top engineering institutes etc.Certifications: Technical certifications Tableau and other BI tools, SQLExperience Range*

• 5+ years of work experience in Tableau and SQL

Foundational skills*7+ years of experience in the analytical fieldBe able to analyze the needs of the businessHave a solid understanding of development and deployment standards and the ability to work in a complex environment that involves liaison with multiple teams.Highly motivated, able to work independently, self-starter; and problem/solving/analyticalExtensive experience in designing, developing, and managing dashboards and reports in Tableau (2 year minimum)Be able to explain work product to various business and risk partnersBe able to identify and understand data anomaliesWrite substantial documentation such as desktop proceduresExcellent oral and written communication skillsTechnical knowledge of Tableau Products, integration and versions including Tableau Server, Tableau Public, Tableau Online, Tableau Desktop, and so onAble to build visually-stunning and interactive dashboardsAble to manipulate and blend data in order to design dashboards and visualizationCritical thinking and ability to independently and proactively identify/suggest/resolve issuesStrong Written and Oral CommunicationAbility to follow up with issues and summarize discussionsAbility to communicate clearly, effectively, and work well with people at all levelsAttention to detailsWillingness to learnStrong work ethicExperience of working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlinesTeam player
