Due to Monadelphous’ continued growth our Engineering Construction division is extremely busy with current and upcoming projects arising across a diverse range of sectors including Iron-Ore, Lithium, Rare Earth, and Gold. We are seeking highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the success of these exciting resources projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver detailed quantity and technical data to support the preparation and analysis of contract variations, progress claims, and earned value reporting for the relevant projects and business units. This role is a hybrid role working in the site office completing take-offs from drawings and working out in the field monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Compiling quantity take-off /bills of materials for packagesInputting Head Contract Reporting requirements including: QMR, Free Issued Commodities registers, Progress Claim Register, Cash FlowAccurate recordkeeping, ensuring Dayworks, Claim Substantiation documentation, Variation Documentation (invoices and delivery notes) etc. are processedIssuing relevant Change notifications against issue of revised drawings/scope of Works or Technical requirementsUnderstanding of Critical Path and effects of Variations/Change in works on Programme Critical Path

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (desirable)Contract administration/Quantity Surveying experience is essential, preferably within the heavy industrial sectors (maintenance or construction)Excellent communication skills with proven experience of building relationships at all levels of an organisationYou demonstrate initiative and ensure that the teams you work with feel confident, informed, and efficientThe ability to leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose business problems and deliver practical, sustainable solutionsIntermediate user of MS Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel) to assemble and maintain documents, ensuring completeness and accuracySolid understanding of cost control and reporting
