We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Scottish regional business

 

Location: Paisley / Stepps - Scotland 

 

Hours: 40 ours per week - We can offer some flexibility on hours if desired and hybrid working, just let us know when you speak to us

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor you will take a key role in ensuring commercial success of construction projects that can range from £10M - £100M. 

 

Your day to day may include:

Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement at pre construction phase Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages. Carrying out site measurements to assess accuracy of applications from sub contractors Managing applications for payment from sub contractor and preparation of applications for payment to clients. Providing accurate information for the senior / managing QS for  inclusion in monthly CVR report  Preparation of final accounts 

 

What are we looking for?

 

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

 

You hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying  Quantity Surveying experience within the Main Contractor environment Understanding of relevant construction contracts (NEC, JCT, SBCC etc)  Full UK Driving License
