The role
As a Quantity Surveyor within our Infrastructure Development section, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you'll be key to the business.
Day to day, you will be a key team player supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in delivery of task objectives, building the facility of a dedicated QS team within Naval Base Projects Division and develop contractual standards and processes within the team in line with business needs on a whole life contractual and costing basis.
Essential experience of the Quantity Surveyor:
Previous experience within a construction or engineering environment providing project QS services and controls would be desirable Proven background in full tender lifecycle Commercial and financial awareness Legislative and regulatory standards knowledge Project Planning and Project Risk Management techniques
37 hour working week. Full time onsite at HMNB Clyde, Faslane initially then Hybrid working following induction period
Qualifications for the Quantity Surveyor:
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
