**Job Description:**

**Responsibilities:**
+ Knowledge of pre and post contract administration for different contract types (re measure and lump sum is essential)
+ Preparing / reviewing the Bills of Quantities
+ Verify and certify consultants' and contractors' interim applications for payment and issue payment certificates
+ Review and assess consultants' and contractors’ claims
+ Review and assess Extension of Time claim in coordinate with the planning engineer and as directed by the Project Manager
+ Participation in site visits & preparation of reports as directed by the project manager
+ Ensure the submission of consultants' and contractors’ insurances/bonds in accordance with the contract
+ Assist in the close out procedure and prepare the consultants' and contractor’s final account
+ Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
+ Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.
+ Check and record measure of work done..
+ Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
+ Perform other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity or Building Surveying or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
+ A minimum of 13 years relevant quantity surveying experience in large projects.
+ Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
+ Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
+ Good oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Arabic is a must.
+ Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff
+ Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required
