Quantity Surveyor

We currently seek a high caliber Quantity Surveyor to work on a contract basis for the duration of the project, located in Breda.
Job Description:
Reports to appropriate line manager and must be fully conversant with International multi-discipline Standard Methods of Measurement (SMM7, CESMM3 and ECI), the development of Bills of Quantities and the preparation of final accounts. Hands-on experience with both EPC and Construction Contractors is required.
Activities:
Your duties as a Quantity Surveyor will vary according to specific project requirements, but are likely to include a combination of:
• Tender evaluation & assessment
• Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
• Contract review and Contract Administration
• Preparing and presenting cash flow & cost management advice to clients
• Interpreting and offering advice on contract
• Ensuring contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administered
• Measurement of work and value in progress, and estimation of final out turn costs
• Preparation of contractor's payment recommendations
• Change management - measuring & valuing variations
• Agreement of final quantities, and of final Agreement of final accounts
• Management of other members of staff, both Quantity Surveyors and Measurement Technicians
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a UK or internationally recognized university. Ideally but not absolute necessary and it maybe difficult to find a local person on NL with this qualification
• Demonstrable experience on your CV of your ability to perform unassisted a number of the quantity surveying duties listed above.
• IT proficient with extensive exposure to spreadsheets and QS specific software
Minimum Experience: (post-qualification experience)
• Total minimum experience = 10 years
• Total minimum experience in the pharma industry = 5 years
• Total minimum experience in related designation / specialty in years = 5 years
