Job Title: R&D Chemist II

Job Description

A Research and Development Chemist II leads research programs and projects focused on developing innovative chemical formulations for cleaning, sanitization, and personal care products. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership to drive product innovation and improvement.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and conduct complex experimental procedures for product development and optimization.Analyze data, interpret results, and recommend next steps for product development.Apply scientific knowledge of chemistry, material science, and formulation principles.Lead and manage research programs from conception to implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and quality.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Drive multiple concurrent development projects.Maintain detailed documentation of experimental work and findings.Present technical results to internal stakeholders.Coordinate with external partners and vendors when needed.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in formulation chemistry or related field.Proven track record in product development for cleaning, sanitization, or personal care products.Experience in experimental design and data analysis.Experience with analytical techniques and instrumentation.Excellence in written and verbal communication.Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmaceutical experience is transferable.Wet chemistry experience1+ years of experience working in an analytical labPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
