The Research & Development team for Processing Equipment is seeking a skilled Design Specialist (Manager Specialist level) to join our team. Bring your design and engineering expertise to the table and help shape how LEGO leverages processing equipment flex platforms on a global scale. **Core Responsibilities** While joining this global R&D team, you will be the local driver of designing, testing and implementing changes and improvements to existing decoration equipment in the Kladno production. You will design transfer between platforms to optimize output and minimize production cost. In addition, your responsibilities will include: + Designing and construction of equipment + Ensuring tasks are being carried out are in line with our prioritization and goals + Optimization of existing solutions to deliver on efficiency and productivity + Fostering alignment and collaboration with production sites and planning This role is located in Kladno, CZ, and there is no relocation assistance offer for this position. **Play your part in our team succeeding** Our R&D Processing, Equipment Optimization & Productivity team creates the foundation for an effective global production of LEGO products by: + Leading reorder and re- engineering capacity - to justify the existent of the equipment globally in the LEGO organisation. Furthermore, to secure global sharing of the best practise, standardization and alignment of processes to be able to reorder for growth. + Continuous Improvement of efficiency on existing equipment is to support the 3% YOY efficiency goal in operation and to stay attractive towards product development (being ahead of our competitors) + Providing service & know how” is about being the expert about LEGO equipment platforms. **Do you have what it takes?** + Proven manufacturing equipment design experience (CAD design) - both reading and drawing skills are essential for this role + Curiosity about modern technologies and innovative consumer trends + Experience working with global partners would be appreciated, being comfortable and confident in working in global team setting with remote colleagues and partners from other sites + Great teammate – we win together + Works structured and systematic + Fluency in both English and Czech language is a must + Previous experience with SAP would be an advantage + Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities + Experience with pad printing technologywould be an advantage \#LI-HS2 \#LI-Hybrid Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
