Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Science/Engineering, Material Science (or related field) 1 - 2 years of industrial experience with formulating and processing of thermoplastics with a strong background in polymer processing, molding, polymer structure property relationships and polymer blends Expertise in Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE : SBS, SIS, SEBS, SEEPS, SEPS, SEPS-V) formulation, compounding and molding preferred Strong skills in the scientific methods and use of design of experiments for data-driven research Working knowledge of material characterization techniques for rheological, mechanical and, thermal properties of polymers Experience with product approval processes and qualifications at customers end is desirable Knowledge of the SAP system Essential Competencies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent presentation and communication skills Excellent project management and organizational skills required to develop detailed project timelines with key milestones and deliverables The candidate must be collaborative and work effectively across cross-functional teams to drive projects from lab-to-commercial scale Independent thinker and self-motivated to address technical challenges
