QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or a closely related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Experience and knowledge with polymer chemistry and composite materials. Understanding of ingorganic and organic chemistry. Chemistry lab experience is preferred. 0-2 years of relevent technical experience is preferred.
Additional Qualifications
Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Must have excellent research, technical writing, and analytical skills. Must be able to drive engagement and work across multiple functions within the organization. Must be able to demonstrate situational adaptability and resiliency in obtaining results. Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholdrs. Ability to use Microsoft Office Products.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Requires use of safety equipment as dictated by work area. Work is inside and typical noise level fluctuates from moderate to loud. Repetitively exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to vibration. May occasionally perform tasks involving toxic or caustic chemicals, and operate instruemtns that pose a risk of electrical shock.
