This position reports to

R & D Hub Manager, India

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the strategic technology direction by contributing your own ideas for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology, software and solutions. Each day, you will assist the Research and Development (R&D) team by executing your assigned tasks and using technical knowledge in a structured way. You will also showcase your expertise by staying abreast of the state of the art and actively applying this knowledge.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business IEC LV Motors division in Bangalore & Faridabad, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollect inputs from all manufacturing locations and merge them into common requirements for ETP related development tasks and projects•\tFollow-up performance of current global engineering tools; Adept, OMS, PDM, CAD tools Make development proposals accordingly.•\tEnsure New product development projects and Product transfer projects provide efficient engineering tools and processes for all manufacturing locations•\tPrior experience in designing electrical machines is an advantage•\tPLM system knowledge: e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill•\tCad skills (NX, Creo, other)•\tSAP Variant Configurator experience

Qualifications for the role

\tBE or B Tech, M. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.\tMinimum 5 or more years of experience in rotating machines background.\tFluent in written, reading and verbal English\tParticipates constructively in working teams. \tActively collaborates with others for the achievement of common targets.\tExperience with PLM software - Teamcenter Experience with 3D design including use of NX, Solid works, or equivalent design platforms.
