R&D Local Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Smart Power division in Bergamo. Main stakeholder is Research & Development department.You will be mainly accountable on low voltage circuit breakers for:•\tConducting analysis and feasibility studies•\tEngaging in electromechanical design•\tValidating and testing prototypes•\tCooperating with the Project Team, Workshop, Testing Laboratory, and Project Manager•\tContributing to research and development (R&D) projects with own, creative ideas•\tFollowing up on activities based on project results•\tReporting on progress and outcomes

Qualifications for the role

\tYou hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering.\tYou are highly skilled in and enjoy working with CAD 3D (CREO preferred) and the electrical engineering market.\tYou have established skills and XX years of experience in electrical engineering.\tPossess an enhanced knowledge of and are highly adept in CAD 3D (CREO preferred).\tYou are passionate about autonomy in the management of activities and team-working skills, and you are innovative around curiosity and flexibility.\tYou are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
