We have an opportunity for a R&D Engineer/Scientist I to join our team at Honeywell in Brno!
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities
Designing and development of ground and airborne navigation systems including Assured Navigation algorithms, Navigation architecture enabling Safe, Autonomous and Efficient aircraft or UAMs operations even in difficult weather conditionsAdditional work includes the validation and development of alternative navigation aids including integration of innovative sensorsEngaging in experimental laboratory work focused on data collection, evaluation, and result interpretation.The job assignment may vary based on primary managers’ directives.Key skills and qualifications
Educational Background: Master's degree in relevant fields (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics).Technical Skills: Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, and programming languages (Python, C/C++); knowledge of GNSS systems, state estimation, scripting languages (Perl, Python), and software configuration tools (GitHub, SVN).Professional Experience: Experience in technical writing and real-time embedded software development.Soft Skills: Excellent English, strong organizational and analytical skills, communication and presentation abilities, reliability, and ethical standards.Personal Attributes: Motivated self-starter, team player, willing to travel, and eager to develop a career in the aerospace industry.Our offer
