Job Role and Responsibility:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance to join our System Testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking (L2/L3/L4) with knowledge of protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in testing methodologies and automation. Candidate would be working on L4-L7 Load balancer at a System Test level, including performance and scale.

Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and test L4-L7 level load balancer, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityUnderstand test requirements, write test plans, run Manual testsAutomation of the tests performedAnalyse, Repro and Work with Customer issues for resolutionPerform packet debugging and analysisIdentify areas where scripting and automation can improve network operations and suggest appropriate solutionsCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure network requirements are met and automated where possibleStay up to date with networking trends and technologies, recommending improvements as necessaryProvide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience as a QA engineer with strong test design methology principlesStrong understanding of L2/L3/L4 protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP.Working experience with REST APIStrong in scripting and automation, preferably in PythonUsage of network testing and debugging tools.Working knowledge of VMware technologies, including HypervisorsExpert in L2-L7 network architectures.Familiar with Jenkins and GIT for version control and network automation.Knowledge of Public Cloud and Kubernetes areas is a plusKnowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
