Job Description:
Synopsys is seeking a Quality Audit Engineer, whose primary mandate is to conduct audits. Audits will be of IP development programs and product deliverables to ensure compliance with Synopsys’ Quality Management System and any additional requirements. This position will work globally with internal teams to ensure conformance to product, customer, quality, and reliability requirements.
Some euro-zone travel may be required.

Responsibilities:Understand Synopsys development flows and Synopsys Quality Management SystemUnderstand the unique product or customer requirementsPerform conformance audits on the workflows/approvals followed by the product teamsPerform conformance audits on the reports and checklists produced by the product teamsPerform conformance audits on the products produced by the product teamsInvestigate data and produce reports including automation tasksGive constructive feedback from quality auditsSupport 2nd party / 3rd party audits of Synopsys’ Quality Management SystemContribute to 8D/5-Why Analysis and ReviewsContribute to the definition, generation, and monitoring of quality metricsMonitor the effectiveness of Synopsys’ Quality Management SystemContribute to the continual improvement of Synopsys’ Quality Management SystemOther related tasks as may be defined
Requirements:University degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceKnowledge in Quality Management Systems and Quality standards (ISO 9001)Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of data analysis tools is an advantageKnowledge of semiconductor development flows is an advantageKnowledge of programming/coding using tools such as Python is an advantageAttention to detailAnalytical mind and problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational skillsAbility to work as part of a diverse team, with many remote members across different time zonesProficient in English
