Synopsys is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to help automate the regressions infrastructure of leading-edge library characterization and validation solution. As part of the PrimeLib R&D team, you will have a unique opportunity to work towards improving quality of the tool by working on latest technology of top chip design industry.  

The responsibilities include:Build, Maintain and Improve the existing regressions infrastructureAutomate the regression system. Work on newly developed features and suggest new additions to the tool. Work closely with developers & product experts to understand the features clearly and discuss on the testcase requirement. Collaborating with cross functional teams to enable complex flows across tools Analyzing performance of the tool and work towards improvement. Working with simulator teams to improve quality of the simulators as well as PrimelibQualification Requirements:Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with strong desire to explore new technologies Solid programming skills are requirementPrevious experience on at least one of Shell, Tcl, Python language is mandatory. Familiarity with C++ is added advantage. Previous experience with other EDA tools like PrimeTime, Primesim, Finesim, SiliconsSmart is added advantage.  Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment BS/MS in CS/EE/IT/physics/applied math or related fields with 5+ years. Nice to have:Knowledge of job schedulers : lsf/grid etc.Experience with some version control tools, like perforce
