Synopsys is hiring an engineer for a full-time R&D position in Hyderabad/Bangalore. The job is challenging but rewarding, and offers opportunities for career growth. Primary Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for people who will be responsible and have a passion to:

 

Create, improve, solve problems, and fix errors in software tools used for making computer chips.Assist a worldwide design team in fixing Flow and Design problems. Communicate with foundries. Set up the IP Project environment and design processes.Develop routines and utility programs to aid in the design of Integrated CircuitsBuild productive internal/external working relationships

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

A relevant degree in electronic/micro electronic engineering or computer science5+ years of relevant experienceGood knowledge of hardware integrated circuitsUNIX/Linux user knowledgeProficiency with at least one programming languageProficiency with scripting languages to automate processesGood English communication skillsCapability to produce adequate technical documentationWillingness to learn and discover new technologies, and ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

 

Favoured Requirements

 

Experience in Python, TCL or Shell scriptingExperience with VLSI domain like familiarty with DRC/LVS Extraction/Simulation/EMIRCadence, Custom Designer EDA tool usageIC design experienceExperience in data management and job schedule tool like LSF/GRID Engine
