R&d Engineering Technician
Description Leads troubleshooting and testing of complex electro-mechanical Class II medical devices Support the NPI and Production projects in ensuring the instruments are built, tested and verified to a high standard, propose build improvements Troubleshoots complex technical issues arising during the instrument build activities in collaboration with the engineering team Responsible for prototype, early production and production build as required by the business Skills Troubleshooting, electro mechanical, Class II, R&d, optic, soldering, iso 13485, ESD, electrostatics, electrostatic discharge Top Skills Details Troubleshooting,electro mechanical,Class II Additional Skills & Qualifications Must be be familiar with the optics field (imagers, lasers, lens components etc.) Highly preferred experience in Scripting Software - especially troubleshooting within script software R&D experience preferred Nice to have Associates degree and be computer savvy Computer skills - windows, excel, MFT, executables and .ini files. MUST be able to read work instructions and know the basics of Excel Will need to be familiar with mechanical adjustments, align complex optical systems, lasers, critical thinking/troubleshooting, familiar with cabling Know how to use the following tools: multi meter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data lager, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
