R&D Local Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.You will be mainly accountable for:1. Working as PDM/PLM key user/super to support PDM/PLM application related design/development & roll-out project.2. working as contact person to coordinate the software application and upgrading3. Providing consulting service to Engineers based on PDM/PLM technology and environment.4. working as SAP key user to implement SAP-PP module improvement based on the user request 5. local Administrator to managing SAP/ PDM/PLM system, but not limited6. Working in an international environment/team to support Business Units on global/ regional projects, solutions from PDM/PLM domain.7. Working on Solution development (New Processes, Change Requests, improvement) as majority.8. Also support Engineering process (new process ,change process ) connected to business request

Qualifications for the role

1. Bachelor degree of Engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred; experience in Manufacturing industry preferred;2. knowledge of server (installation and configuration and maintenance), data communication, network connection and Protocol preferred;3. minimum must use PDM/PLM (Windchill, Teamcenter) ;1+ year in PDM system (Teamcenter or PTC platform）implementation and maintenance advanced; key user or super user preferred;4. knowledge of CAD Tool (AutoCAD, Solid work, NX, Idea, etc.);5. Knowledge about engineering process & product development process;6. Skills in MS office, especially in Excel, Power Point;7. Able to coordinate multiple tasks; Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, self-motivated and can work under pressure;8. Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, able to analyze data & take ownership of job duties9. Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills, Good interpersonal skills;10. Fluent English in written and oral is mandatory, good communication with Engineers and Global experts;11. other skills are considered to be an advantage
