R&D Hardware Lab Manager
Cisco Silicon One team is undergoing rapid growth, and we are looking for a Lab Manager In this role you will be in charge of making sure the CI-CD lab has the right equipment, that it is well maintained, and it is operating. Meet the Team Join the Cisco Silicon One team in developing a unified silicon architecture for web-scale and service provider networks. Cisco's silicon team provides an outstanding, unique experience for ASIC engineers by combining the resources offered by a sizable multi-geography silicon organization and a large campus (with an on-site gym, healthcare, café, social interest groups, and philanthropy) with the startup culture and breadth of growth opportunities that working in a smaller ASIC team can provide. Your Impact * Manage the inventory of 450+ boards in lab * Manage the inventory of Traffic Generators in lab. * Track the health of the boards and other equipment * Work with the HW team on fixing malfunctioned boards * Work with development teams and release team on creating a forecast * Order and track the addition of new equipment * Work with Lab personnel for getting the right service for accomplishing your tasks * Be an integral part of our CI-CD team, participating in various tasks related to the lab Minimum Qualifications * Having experience managing logistics, including inventory, shipping, and supplier coordination. * Proven ability to use technical tools or handle basic hardware setups. * Strong verbal and written English skills. Preferred Qualifications * BA/BSc degree * Highly organized and systematic * Having the ability to push the organization for achieving your tasks. * Team player * Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, etc). * Experience in lab management * Experience with working with HW boards \#WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
