R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.The work model for the role is: hybrid #LinkedinWork involves mainly Electronics Hardware design, development & validation activities. It demands engineer’s involvement from requirement analysis till product release which gives an opportunity of knowing complete product development lifecycle. Engineers shall have good fundamentals of electronics.Propose innovative solutions for customer requirements .Collaborate well with the team , to deliver the Product releases on time, with good quality . Should have good communication skills.Align with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and complete project deliverables. Demonstrates sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools.

Qualifications for the role

BE/B.Tech with 4 to 8 yrs of experience into the given skillset Hands on experience into electronics Hardware design: requirement analysis, design, development & validation including type testShould have good experiences in HW component selection, Schematics for SMPS / power supply design, Analog HW design. Defining current transformer / sensor specs & design. HW module verification. Hands on experience of HW design tool like PADs, OrCADKnowledge of PCB layout design and verificationShould have knowldege of IEC standards for EMI/EMC testing of electronics relays.Sensor signals(Current, Voltage, Temp. etc) processing cktBI / BO processing ckt design experience
