Our Process Automation business offers a range of solutions for process and hybrid industries, including our industry-specific integrated automation, electrification and digital solutions, control technologies, software and advanced services, as well as measurement & analytics and marine offerings. We are seeking a passionate and experienced R&D Manager to lead our R&D Lab in Oslo. This lab is one of five global R&D labs responsible for developing and maintaining automation and electrification products. As the R&D Manager, you will lead a team of around 40 highly skilled professionals and oversee three global product portfolios. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and develop R&D resources, competencies, and capacity. - Coordinate activities across various teams and management levels. - Foster innovation and creativity within the team. - Ensure delivery of results and strategic development of R&D capabilities. - Manage finance and budget for the R&D lab. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for the roleM.Sc./B.Sc. in Power/Electrical/Electronics or Control Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial R&D. Considerable leadership-experience in R&D or product development. Strong collaboration and team-building skills. Experience with product development, including design, testing, and project management. Good understanding of finance and budget management.
