An exciting opportunity to work in an ever-changing laboratory environment. As a member of the Laboratory Operations Team for our Common Services and Infrastructure (COSI) unit, you will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deliver in an environment where openness, trust and teamwork are encouraged.

You have :

Active student status Good English, both spoken and writtenReady to work full-time during the summertimeLinux knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Debian/Ubuntu or CentOS/Rocky (installation, network and storage configuration, LVM) Configuration management tool familiarity (any of Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet) Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, ARP, VLAN) Coding skills - Python and/or Bash Analytical thinking skills and teamwork skills Strong desire to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies 

It would be nice if you also had:

As part of our team, you will:

Assist in the implementation of Cloud programs for Mobile Networks R&D laboratories, including installation of OpenStack/KVM/ProxMox/VMware/Linux systems, configuring and maintaining these environments Assist in Physical server mounting and installation. Inventorying common assetsIntroduce and reinforce Linux system administration best practices Have the opportunity to propose and implement automation solutions for various Linux and Cloud Tasks
