Honeywell’s\nACST team is seeking an R&D Manager for our Golden\nValley, MN location. The annual base salary range for this\nposition is $142,000 - $177,000. Please note that this salary information\nserves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when\nextending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities\nof the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key\nskills, as well as market and business considerations. The above information is\nfor Minnesota candidates.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Honeywell in delivering creative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers Work with scientists, engineers and a larger research team to design, build, and test custom subsystems for use in research and commercial environments Manage an engineering team, drive team commitments and ensure team execution of customer-driven milestones and deliverablesEstablish and evaluate team goals, write performance assessments, and conduct performance reviewsPartner with the Program Management Office to evaluate team workloads and ensure resource alignment across the engineering portfolioWork with the Engineering Management team to define, establish, and improve technical workflowsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics10+ years of experience in engineering, research and development5+ years of experience in technical managementWE VALUEAdvanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Chemical EngineeringExperience in engineering analysis, modeling, and simulation (e.g., fluid dynamics, structural and vibrational analysis, process modeling)Strong leadership, communication, and management skillsAbility to drive results and meet project deadlinesInnovative mindset and a passion for technology
