Our group:

The Hardware R&D group oversees the development of complex machines performing optical and electron microscopy. Our tools are used for the inspection of semiconductors wafers during the fabrication process of microchips.

What you'll be doing?

Perform mechanical design of structural elements, pneumatics systems, vacuum systems, manual and motorized mechanisms, filtration systems and cooling systems deployed in a clean room environmentDesign and execute experimentsPerform CAE simulations and analysis for design validation and trouble-shootAuthor drawings, define fabrication process, materials and finish standards with detailed GD&T and perform complex tolerance analysisLead the mechanical aspects of the development process, present design reviews, and collaborate with team members from other disciplines, project management, product manufacturing, field support and suppliers

What should you have?

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years mechanical design experienceHighly proficient in the use of CAD software, SoildWorks and Inventor an advantageExperience with CAE software for structural, modal, thermal and flow analysisStrong analytical/problem solving skills and general Mechanical Engineering analysis knowledgeSkilled in GD&T and tolerance stack up analysisThrives working in a dynamic environment with new problems, fast paced projects where out-of-the-box thinking is requiredThe ability and willingness to learn and explore new topics is vitalTeam player able to work in large, multi-disciplinary teams with strong interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated, fast learnerHigh presentation skills and fluent English
