Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion business Drive Products division in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.•\tPerforming various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations.•\tUnderstanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints.•\tDriving the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou highly skilled in Defining the architecture of new products, as well as maintenance and life cycle strategy of existing products and Leading the design, development, testing and deployment of web applications hosted on cloud environment. \tArchitecting the productivity improvement initiatives like continuous integration and deploy-ment, DevOps etc. for faster and reliable development as well as deployment of the software prod-ucts/solutions. Working with products managers and product owners to define scope, features and estimates for new projects and Working directly on development tasks, providing technical leadership, coordinating with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.\tBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent and should have 12-15 years of overall software development experience along with at least 5-8 years of experience with de-signing Software Architecture.\tExperience in Design Patterns and Principles like SOLID principles, Microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Microsoft development platforms, including .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Azure. Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) and Extensive knowledge on Da-tabase design(SQL,NoSQL), \tHave good knowledge and experience in leading DevOps processes (CI/CD), Containerization and Orchestration through Docker & Kubernetes and good knowledge of Azure App Services, Functions, Storage, Devops, Logic Apps & Service Bus.\tIn-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001), Secure coding standards, Threat modeling, Vulnerability management, Identity and access management, Compliance Standards like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.\tArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services (e.g., Azure Bot Service, Azure Cognitive Search)\tBig Data and Analytics(Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL Data Ware-house), Power BI). IoT (Internet of Things), Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics and Mobile Develop-ment, Xamarin, MAUI (Multi-platform App UI).
