This position reports to

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

•\tProject team leadership: Leads and supports local and cross-functional project teams, including associate R&D project managers.Motivates and monitors internal and/or external resources to accomplish all committed targets.•\tProject management: Accountable for the end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned project(s).•\tValue management: Ensures team understanding of customer value in the projects and acts to ensure customer satisfaction and manage stakeholder expectations.•\tProject execution and control: Ensures that project activities are effectively prioritized, estimated, and planned. Monitors and controls progress towards plan to ensure achievement of commitments and targeted milestones / stage-gates. Ensures issues, conflicts and impediments are resolved at the appropriate level (i.e., team, project), escalating as required.•\tManage uncertainties and risks: Ensures transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events and identified risks.•\tProjects, processes, and tools: Ensures projects follow sound methodology and execution practices, aligned with desired development model (e.g., predictive/waterfall, iterative/agile, hybrid) and in accordance with applicable ABB internal directives and procedures as well as external standards, etc. that influence activities and targets.

Qualifications for the role

Passion for Project Management: Demonstrated passion for leading projects and teams.Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote collaboration across functions.Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development or project management, preferably in a technical field.Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field preferred.Proficiency in both English and French is required.(team diversified international development teams).
