Your Role

We are seeking an R&D Scientist to join our Semiconductor Solutions R&D team. In this role, you will work with a team of scientists to provide advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and a passion for material research and development.
 

 Key Responsibilities:

Design and synthesize new organic and inorganic materials for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) for next-generation semiconductor devicesOptimize formulation, process, synthesis, and purification of materialsCharacterize materials to establish quality-controlled productsInvestigate material/formulation & process systematically, solve issues, and guide the project's developmentCompile data on time and support the introduction of products to customersManage and lead research subjects assigned by the team leaderComplete routine lab duties and instrument maintenance

 Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines 3 + years of experience with chemical synthesis and analysis

 Preferred Qualifications:

PhD Degree in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines Experience with organometallics, nanoparticles, or dispersion technologyProficient in materials characterization and hands-on experience with spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-vis, NMR), thermal analysis (TGA and DSC), and microscopic techniques (SEM, AFM, and TEM)Ability to work collaboratively in a team, learn, and adopt new concepts or techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilitiesSelf-motivated with good attention to detail and capable of setting priorities
