Job Purpose and Impact

We are seeking and inspired and dynamic Innovation Chef to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our application team and have access to your own state-of-the-art kitchen. You will be responsible for developing innovative culinary solutions that elevate the consumer experience and drive business growth.

Key Accountabilities

•    In collaboration with the technical customer solution team, directly contributes to the innovation pipeline and portfolio with ideas for the conversion of customer insights to the growth of distinctive product offerings within multiple or targeted core technologies component areas.
•    Independently conducts complex research and innovation initiatives to translate research discoveries into marketable products and further develop existing technology. 
•    Act as a culinary expert for retail and food service customers. Develop strong business and customer understanding to ultimately influence, drive and create business opportunities. Use culinary insights and trend data to inspire innovation projects and engage cross-functional teams.
•    Identify emerging technology needs for business and proposes solutions within area of focus and expertise as well as assesses potential value creation and optimization generated from innovation discoveries.
•    Plan and lead internal culinary events, including senior leadership visits. Support marketing campaigns by organizing chef selection menu events and creating culinary materials.
•    Source new and creative products and ingredients to meet changing consumer needs. Design and implement strategies to deliver best-in-class culinary experiences. Anticipate business needs and strive to be first to market with innovative solutions.
•    Routinely provide technical direction to team members. Build strong connections within the chef community, both internally and externally. Lead internal knowledge-building initiatives and enhance chef capabilities, including the use of digital tools.
•    Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Other duties as assigned
