You will be working as R&D Senior Software Developer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Product & Technology Manager and will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology, software or solutions by contributing with own ideas. Working independently as a member of an R&D team.

Your responsibilities

Responsible for implementation of software solutions within process industry digital business line for global process industries Providing broad technical software support, training, piloting and consulting services for clients and carrying out the implementation of company software product within process industriesWorking with lead software developer to understand scope, features and estimates for new projectsWorking directly on development tasks providing technical leadership, coordinating with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgetsWorking with lead developer and customers to define new opportunities for plant level applicationsTroubleshooting the software and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches

Your background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering or related technical field Minimum experience of 4 to 6 years in C#, .Net, web application, REST API microservicesHands on experience in web application development using C#, ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, Python, Angular or React, Node Js, HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java script, CSS, Bootstrap and Cloud technologies (MS Azure or AWS)Should have proficiency in fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.Should have experience in developing at least one application as a full stack developerHaving good knowledge of Visual C++, MFC, ATL COM is an added advantage along with OPC DA or HAD or UA specifications and implementing the clientExperience of Relational database oracle or SQL server or postgresql, time series databaseHaving deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and designing patterns & principlesHaving excellent troubleshooting skills at module, product & system levels using any of the tools like DebugDiag, WinDbg ( system internal tools )
