_The 2025 Summer Intern Position will support multiple optimization projects across Innovative Medicine R&D ultimately helping to transform the way R&D operates. The candidate will be exposed to project management skills, strategies to optimize business operations, and cost saving tactics. The candidate will learn about the pharmaceutical R&D processes, communication and leadership skills, managing cross functional, continuous improvement, and stakeholder management in this role._
_Responsibilities:_
+ **_Project Leadership:_** _You will support coordinating and overseeing various projects within R&D, ensuring that they are executed successfully and within the given timelines. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and managing any potential risks or issues that may arise._
+ **_Operations Strategy:_** _You will support developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the business operations. This includes identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and ensuring that operational efficiency is maximized._
+ **_Budgeting, Resource and Timeline:_** _You will support managing budgets and allocating resources effectively to support the projects and operations within the Pharmaceutical R&D department. This includes making budget recommendations, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve project goals._
**_Qualifications_**
_Required:_
+ _Pursuing a studies in Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Pharmacology, Engineering is required._
+ _Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now, or in the future (ex. H1-B). Students currently in the country on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT require future sponsorship for long-term employment._
+ _Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the Intern assignment pursuing a bachelor’s degree_
+ _By start date, candidate must be considered an undergraduate sophomore or above_
+ _Minimum GPA of 3.6 or higher_
+ _Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship/co-op_
+ _Ability to provide transportation to/from the work location_
+ _Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills._
+ _Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship._
_Preferred:_
+ _Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred_
+ _Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results_
+ _Must be a self-starter works independently while contributing to the team goals_
+ _Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired_
_The anticipated base pay for this position is between 22.00$ per hour and 51.50$ per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans._ **_Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify._** _This position is ineligible for severance.
