Job Title: R&D TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled R&D Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform tests on components according to the test plans provided by R&D engineers. You will also follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while conducting lab tests and assist with the development of new products, particularly refrigerant devices. Additionally, you will conduct tests to identify product defects and ensure they meet strength and durability standards. Your work will also involve setting up and executing test plans, performing root cause analysis on product deficiencies, and supporting various cost, quality, and supply projects. Responsibilities + Perform tests on components per the test plan provided by R&D engineers. + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while conducting lab tests. + Assist with new product development of refrigerant devices for assigned projects. + Conduct tests for product defects, strength, and durability standards. + Set up and execute test plans and perform root cause analysis on product deficiencies. + Support other cost, quality, and supply projects as needed for refrigerant and other mechanical devices. Essential Skills + R&D lab experience + R&D engineering knowledge + Chemical engineering expertise + Ability to follow SOPs + Proficient use of MS Office products + B.S in Chemical Engineering or a related science field + 2+ years of R&D lab experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Good communication skills + Ability to collaborate with multiple departments + Strong follow-up skills Work Environment This position operates within an R&D lab environment. You will work with various technologies and equipment pertinent to research and development, ensuring adherence to SOPs and maintaining a focus on quality and safety standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
