Your Role:
The R&D Technician role will support new CMP slurry product research and development, with an emphasis on STI/Advanced Oxide CMP. They will work in a team consisting of other chemists/scientists to assist the development of next generation CMP slurries and provide technical solutions to semiconductor industry needs. Specific responsibilities include:
Understand and follow proper laboratory safety protocols for handling chemicals, including wearing proper protective equipmentPerform laboratory duties, including formulating CMP slurry according to batch sheets and protocols, calibrating/maintaining lab tools, measuring physical properties, and general lab cleaning/organizationLab tools include pH, conductivity, moisture analyzer, viscosity, contact angle, particle size and counting, electrochemistry, zeta potentialPerform other laboratory duties as assigned, such as sample stability, or tests to understand slurry performance mechanisms and fundamentalsAssist the Research Scientist with project related tasksData process, analysis, and reportingWork closely with internal teams, e.g. analytical and engineering teamsWork closely with customer technology team and assist the develop new CMP product that meets customer requirementsHighly organized, good communication skills, open minded, and highly motivated
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or other Scientific disciplines2+ years of experience in general laboratory techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Material Science or other Scientific disciplinesWorking experience with semiconductor industry or chemical material industry
