Are you passionate about analytical science and eager to make a significant impact in the industry? Dow is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled lab technician to join our online-analysis team within Core R&D - Analytical Science organization.

As a Senior R&D Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of reactor vessel outcomes. Your expertise in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry will be essential as you collaborate on innovative projects with research and development groups across Europe, the USA, and Asia. This is your chance to contribute to groundbreaking processes and sustainability efforts in the industry.

Responsibilities

Support Online GC Analysis Systems: Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and develop new methods and software for our online GC analysis systems, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting.Deliver Analytical Expertise: Work closely with other researchers to provide high-end analytical support for various research projects.Hands-On Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, engaging in hands-on work and collaborating with research colleagues.Innovative Experimental Plans: Develop and execute experimental plans, performing both standard and non-routine tasks to support a wide range of innovative activities.Global Collaboration: Collaborate with researchers locally and globally to drive forward our research initiatives.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (HLO) in analytical chemistry, chemistry, or process chemistry with a strong background in analytical characterization techniques.Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Dutch is not mandatory, but a willingness to learn Dutch is desired.
