R&D Technologist Intern in Table Sauces

Basic Requirements for all:
You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement except CTI but other languages are a plus)
You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)
Team: Table Sauces (Tomato Ketchup, Mayonnaise and Condiments)
The position of R&D Technologist Intern in Table Sauces is part of the EU R&D team based in the Innovation Centre in Nijmegen.
Assignment and key activities:
Assist in the development and optimization of new and existing products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
Conduct kitchen and pilot experiments, including formulation, ingredient testing, and product analysis
Support sensory evaluation processes, including the preparation and presentation of samples
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful product launches
Document and analyze experimental data, providing insights and recommendations for product launches and improvements
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new products and process improvements
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Specific Team Requirements:
Food Science/ Technology/ Engineering or Natural Sciences (Bio, Biotech, Chemistry) Bachelor or Masters student.
Course or interest in business is a plus.
Course in data handling, statistics is needed.
You are a self-starter and independent worker with good analytical skills and is highly motivated. Scientific driven and hands on with a business mindset and good communication skills.
Research and lab experience is a must.
