An amazing number, but we’re always looking for new ways to continue making a difference, and new people to make a difference with. **The opportunity** The Senior Manager HR is a crucial role in aligning human resource strategies with the business goals and needs. This role will be a key business partner to leaders and client groups primarily based at our US Research & Development global headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to deliver on talent management, employee relations, performance management, change management, and compliance/policy management initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can effectively support such activities within a matrixed global organization. This role will report to the US R&D HR lead. **How you’ll spend your day** Following is a list of some but not all responsibilities and specific tasks that will be assigned to the person in this role: ⦁ Establishes partnerships across the HR function (with multiple Global HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise and HR Operations) to deliver value added service to leadership and employees. ⦁ Works closely with leadership and employees to improve onboarding, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness in support of increased business performance. ⦁ Uses HR metrics and analytics to inform decision making and measure effectiveness of HR programs. ⦁ Oversees recruitment activities for the assigned client groups while taking proactive steps to ensure there is a robust talent pool. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition colleagues accordingly. ⦁ Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Effectively partners with Employee Relations Center of Expertise. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations as appropriate. ⦁ Facilitates the performance management process, overseeing performance appraisal processes and providing coaching to leaders on performance-related issues. Advises and supports leaders in addressing substandard performance. Supports employees in achieving their goals. ⦁ May serve as a project leader for HR and/or business-driven initiatives (i.e. organizational structure changes, cultural transformation, organizational effectiveness). ⦁ Provides employees and management with coaching and counseling, ensuring objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues. The person hired for this position will need to sit out of our R&D Hub in West Chester, PA **Your experience and qualifications** Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. Education/Certification/Experience: ⦁ Minimum of 7 years of prior Human Resources Manager experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment with demonstrated increasing responsibilities preferred ⦁ Requires Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college. Advanced degrees in related fields or HR certifications preferred. ⦁ Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: ⦁ Experience with HR information systems is preferred. SAP Success Factors preferred. ⦁ Ability to work both independently and on a team, leveraging colleagues’ expertise to provide the best value-add HR solutions ⦁ Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ⦁ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and inter-cultural competence ⦁ Strong Interpersonal and people skills, in particular the ability to build relationships, coach and influence stakeholders at all levels ⦁ Strong problem-solving skills ⦁ Demonstrated customer service focus ⦁ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook); advanced Excel skills and strong statistical and strong analytical skills preferred ⦁ Demonstrated experience in a global matrix, high performance work environment and team- oriented culture ⦁ Strong track record of results achieved through collaboration, influence skills, and organizational and change management skills ⦁ Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a collaborative and fast-paced environment ⦁ Prioritization and multi-tasking a plus ⦁ Ability to maintain confidentiality ⦁ Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and technologies in the human resources field TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 10-15% Business travel for projects or to other Teva sites. **Enjoy a more rewarding choice** We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Comprehensive Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage starting on the first day of employment, providing the employee enrolls.
