Job Overview

Weatherford is seeking a skilled and experienced Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team based out of our Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador facility, . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and machinery used in our operations.

Requirements

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, and other mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and breakdowns. Replace worn or defective parts and components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Qualifications

Experience with Liner Hanger and other tools of the trade is a plus/preferred. Experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
