Job Definition:
Has responsibility for providing "hands-on" technical support to the production, and repair of equipment and/or tools. In shop environment, receives field tools, takes them apart, repairs and refurbishes tool to go back to the field using blueprints, manuals, following protocols. Primarily activity is at workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, implementing mandatory modifications and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance. He/she may be required to attend a client location to perform his/her duties whenever an R&M task is deemed necessary to carry over a field operation.
Responsibilities:
This is an intermediate role whom will be responsible for maintenance, repair, calibration and testing of all JAM equipment (Torque Turn System) and Torque Gauge. Acquires and develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks for conventional products. Exercises limited judgment. The individual applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks strictly in accordance to Weatherford OEPS standards.
Perform repair, calibration and maintenance of Torque Turn Equipment (JAM) Review JAM Make-Up Graph for Onshore/Offshore job as per OEM Connection’s Running Procedures as well as TRS Policy Perform JAM equipment planning, requisition and coordination Verify all necessary equipment and supplies are shipped to and arrive at wellsite in proper working condition Locate and use relevant supporting documentation (e.g. Tech Units, Running Procedures) for performing JAM equipment maintenance including SharePoint and the Weatherford Intranet Provide workshop assistance for the disassembly, assembly, inspection, testing of equipment and bucking job along with supporting documentation as required Complete training plan as set out in the position within company guidelines. Available on 24 hours call support basis to respond to operation need, if any Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job Responsible for investigation and implementation of corrective action for all CPAR's that direct related to the area responsibility Responsible for implementation and maintenance of inventory/spare part stocking system for JAM Equipment
Qualifications
Certified/ graduated in Electrical/Electronic/ Engineering discipline Minimum of 2 years oilfield experience Good experience in JAM equipment (Torque Turn System) Comfortable working at a workshop environment Comfortable traveling across Malaysia (Kemaman), Brunei, the Philippines for job purposes, up to 30% basis
