Introduction to the job

Repair engineer (a Production engineer or General leader) at Repair center, you’re responsible for execution of part repair to meet the given business target such as repair volume, cost saving and safety issue. In addition to that, you’re responsible for part manufacture related activities such as repair cycle time reduction / repair quality improvement working by improving the repair process and repair methodology with challenge and collaboration mindset.

Role and responsibilities

- Conduct all the activities that are required to repair electronics and mechanical parts of ASML equipment

- Activities include but not limited to repairing work, testing, documentation, designing processes, packaging, process development/improvement and so on  

- Maturing the part production process based on development by Repair Development Center (RDC)
- Interact with RDC engineers to execute diagnostic and troubleshooting for new parts development or for existing parts quality management
- Execute outsourcing program with 3rd party, procurement, RDC etc
- Transfer the manufacture knowledge and knowhow to other site such as Taiwan , China, USA

Education and experience

- Bachelor Degree or above in related field

- 5~8 years of related experiences

- Experience with ASML equipment and processes is preferred
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing in electronic / electrical / mechanical designs

- Capable of reading, understanding and communicating with regards to technical subjects
- Hands-on experience with electronics manufacturing processes and equipment

- Strong technical leadership in part repair and testing to improve the quality
- Good verbal and written language skills in English
- Focused on quality, continuous improvement with cost-reduction mindset
- Highly motivated team player with good social and communication skills

- Ability to work individually to plan own work schedule and execute according to the schedule

- Excellent communication skills to communicate on-time with the team

*Working location: Hwasung IX Tower (Dongtan)
