Our Team

The Application Security Office is part of the Amadeus security organization and is one of three domain security offices. Our team ensures the security and compliance of all software developed at Amadeus—whether applications, platform components, or internal tools—covering the entire technical stack in partnership with the Platform & Infrastructure Security Office.

We focus on building security and compliance into all developments proactively through our Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), which provides engineering teams with methodologies, tools, and training to identify and manage security risks effectively.

Role Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Amadeus's security organization by developing a tool for generating secure and consistent security tickets. Security tickets are critical for tracking and addressing security findings, and this project aims to improve their creation and management.

Key Responsibilities

During this internship, you will:

Develop a tool to generate security tickets with consistent metadata using Win@proach and Jira.

Implement security measures, such as a public/private key system and password protection, to secure ticket content.

Ensure compliance with a standardized template for tickets, including metadata for proper monitoring.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Python programming.

Experience with integration using REST/JSON APIs.

Familiarity with deploying applications in a Kubernetes environment.

Knowledge of using GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment.

Soft Skills Requirements

To succeed in this internship, you will need:

Autonomy and the ability to work independently.

An understanding of project management principles.

Familiarity with DevSecOps and agile methodologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
