Job DescriptionReview and oversee operational tasks and duties assigned to sub-team and ensure adherence to set standards and practices.Ensure compliance with agreed KPI’s/metrics for business performance.Analyze a varied range of data to resolve reconciling items and variances and to address queries on accounts movements.Ensure reconciliations are prepared and reviewed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policies, audit procedures and regulations.Acts as the point of contact and primary back-up for the Team Lead.Supports onboarding of new hires.Provide and/review information and supporting documentation required by audit queriesProvide assessment and proposed resolution to the Team Lead to ensure timely resolution of issues. Support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.Maintain and/review the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.Perform and ensure that assigned tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, procedures, and SOX & internal controls.Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.Perform or assist the team lead with administrative reports requested by the leadership team.Support ad-hoc requests in addition to primary responsibilities.Establish and maintain efficient and effective relationship with key stakeholders.Assist the Team Leader in the preparation of Performance Functional Review decks of the center and ensure accurate and relevant information is communicated to stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses5+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance or AccountingAdvanced proficiency in MS Office toolsAdvanced knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and toolsAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
