Responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain Local and International banking relationships with all the company's bank partners and key functional groups such as Treasury, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Tax and Compliance.Review and provide approval for all the Cash Reconciliation of specific assigned accounts, trial balance and manual journal entries.Managing Cash Related SOX and other compliance procedures of the organization in co-operation with Group Finance, Treasury and other FinOps team.Full ownership of controls in Cash Application and Banking which include Bank Mandate tracking, user access in banks and set up in different cash management tool.Oversee all integrations in Cash Management with Amazon, Credit Card providers, PayPal, Stripe, AR/Fulfilment systems etc.Maintain appropriate segregation between Cash management (payments and allocation of receipts), reconciliations and GL accounting.Bank Administrator on bank accounts used all entities.Oversee ICD and Cash Application processes and ensure timely application of unapplied customer receipts.R2R Global Banking Manager is expected to lead and support the migration/implementation of the new ERP system (FUSION). The Manager is also expected to work with different BU’s in harmonizing the processes under his/her remit.Drive optimization of bank accounts across all RELX divisions once migrated into a single Cash Management platform in Fusion.Job Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years managerial experience. (people management exp, but at least role must be in manager-level)
At least 10 years of related work experience (most importantly in the areas of Treasury/Banking)
Bank Reconciliations, Cash management, Cash Accrual, Holiday Accrual, VAT returns, Escheatment, Payroll Accounting, Postage and Handling cost calculation, Submission of statutory declarations, Sales & Use tax reporting , Balance Sheet Reconciliations, i-Expense booking, TB analysis, Provision booking , AR Ageing , Suspense Clearing, Hyperion/CFR, Management Reporting, Project accounting, Headcount Reporting, Benefit Allocations, HFM/CFR Upload and revaluationsGAAP, Operations systems, Fulfillment systems, accounting systems, Excel, Outlook, WordExcellent Excel skills. Experience with major enterprise accounting systems such as Oracle, Fusion, SAPExperienced to operate in a tight SOX / business control environmentExperienced in operating in a large multinational company with multiple stakeholder interactions such as Centres of Expertise, Business Decision Support Teams and Treasury.Experienced in managing large teams to excellenceGood English communication skills required.Experienced to operate in a tight SOX / business control environmentVery good knowledge and practical experience in implementing CI initiatives.
