Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
Support the Record-to-Report Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, to deliver against
their Service obligations to Thales companies whilst seeking to improve efficiencies of
process and accuracy of delivery.
Principal Relationships:
• Record-to-Report Assistant Team Leader/ Record-to-Report Team Leader /
Record-to-Report Manager
• Other SSC teams
• Business Unit Finance teams
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Responsible for executing accounting and associated controls checks in accordance
with internal customer business procedures
• Maintain accuracy within the GL and Assets ledgers
• Maintaining journal and reconciliation records
• Prepare reports on Accounting Payables and Receivables, Bank Reconciliations and
Fixed Assets Statement, Inventory Report.
• To comply with the month end closing ensuring the deadlines and the outputs that
have to be provided to the customers
• To be a team expert in the team
