**Job Title: Racker** **Job Description** This is a part-time position requiring 25-32 hours per week. There is one opening on the first shift and one on the second shift. The first shift starts at 7:00am and ends between 12:30pm and 2:00pm. The second shift starts at 3:30pm and ends between 8:30pm and 10:00pm. The Racker position involves racking and un-racking delicate parts to support finishing operations such as cleaning, plating, or other surface coatings. The operator will mainly be in a sitting or standing position, typically using copper wire or pre-existing pins to wire fixture parts onto designated racks for subsequent operations. This position requires articulating your wrists and hands to perform the tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform racking operations per general instructions using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures. + Read and apply special instructions when applicable. + Perform frequent counting of products to maintain accuracy. + Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead. + Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. + Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment as required. + Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. + Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and write with legible penmanship. + Basic math skills. + Mechanical inclination. + Knowledge retention. + Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask. + Attention to detail is a must. **What's in it for you?** + Weekly pay + Benefits: 401k, vision, health, dental **Why Work Here?** This part-time position offers flexibility in working hours with openings on both the first and second shifts.
